Tested athletes and anti-doping

Updated: October 25, 2026

For athletes who face drug testing:

  • Supplements can be contaminated, and the athlete is responsible.
  • Choose products marked Informed Sport / Informed Choice / NSF Certified for Sport — every batch is tested for banned substances.
  • Avoid 'testosterone boosters', 'hormonal' products and fat burners with vague herbal blends (they may hide DMAA, SARMs or prohormones).
  • Unsure? Check the product name and ingredients with your team doctor or national anti-doping agency.

We don't advise on steroids, SARMs or banned substances. Ask for any product's certificate in the chat.

General sports-nutrition guidance, not medical advice. If you have a condition, are pregnant or take medication, check with your doctor first.
