Common questions
Reading a label and price per serving
Updated: November 2, 2026
Compare the price of protein per serving, not the price of the tub:
- The label gives the serving size (e.g. 30 g) and its protein (e.g. 24 g) → 80% protein.
- Price per serving = tub price ÷ number of servings. With equal protein, the cheaper serving wins.
- Lots of glycine, taurine or arginine in the amino profile counted as protein is 'amino spiking' — less real protein.
- Check sugar, fat and calories against your goal (less when cutting).
- An independent-lab mark (Informed Sport, NSF) matters for tested athletes.
