Common questions

Can I take protein without training

Updated: October 25, 2026

Yes. Protein is ordinary food protein (from milk), not a drug. If food doesn't give you enough, you can take it without training.

  • Take it on rest days too — muscles recover and grow while you rest.
  • Will it make me fat? No — only total calories above your needs do. A serving is ~120 kcal.
  • Muscle won't grow without training — results need strength work.

General sports-nutrition guidance, not medical advice. If you have a condition, are pregnant or take medication, check with your doctor first.
