How to take it
Vitamin K2 together with D3
Updated: November 2, 2026
Vitamin K2 helps direct calcium into bone, which is why it's often sold together with D3.
- Usual dose: 90–200 mcg as MK-7 a day, with a meal containing fat.
- At preventive D3 doses (1000–2000 IU) K2 isn't required but does no harm; with high D3 doses adding it makes sense.
- On warfarin or similar blood thinners, take vitamin K only with your doctor's approval — it weakens the drug.
